The
Language
The official language of Brazil is Portuguese. However, many
immigrants have retained a heart language other than Portuguese.
The heart language of the Germans in Brazil is Hunrsiquer Xpróhj
(Hunsriker). Together with Great Commission Christian organizations &
German-Brazilians the our team is facilitating the adaptation and/or
translation of the Bible into Hunrsiquer Xpróhj.
After the initial study and creation of the orthography
the Gospel of Luke will be the first book adapted in its entirety. The
goal is to have the Jesus Film in Hunrsiquer Xpróhj as soon as possible.
Below is the first attempt
adapting the Luther Bible into Hunrsiquer Xpróhj: Genesis 1:1-5
1 Am ahnfanc hat Gott himel
